मुझे ASSI घाट बहुत पसंद है। अस्सी घाट को कौन नहीं जानता  ?

Varanasi की मनोहर शाम बिताने के लिए यह घाट मेरा पसंदीदा स्थान है।

पुराणों में कहा गया है, कि काशी भगवान शिव के त्रिशूल पर बसा है, यहां पर पर्यटक स्थल विश्वनाथ मंदिर, सारनाथ, और सबसे अलौकिक बनारस के घाट है, जहाँ एक बार जाने के बाद आने का मन नहीं करता, और शाम की गंगाजी की आरती का क्या कहना.......?। उस मनोहर छटा को शब्दों में बया नहीं किया जा सकता है।  I like ASSI Ghat (bank of river ) very much. Who does not know the Assi ghats?

This ferry is my favorite place to spend the lovely evening of Varanasi.

It is said in the Puranas, that Kashi is situated on Lord Trishul of Lord Shiva, the tourist spot Vishwanath Temple, Sarnath, and the most popular things is the Ghat where one does not feel like coming after going, and the evening of Gangaji What do you say about Aarti? That lovely shade can not be used in words.

इस GHAT के नाम के बारे में दो प्रमुख सिद्धांत हैं/

यह नाम ASSI नदी से उत्पन्न हुआ है जो अब केवल सीवेज के पानी की धारा के रूप में रह गई हैं । इस नदी को वाराणसी की दक्षिणी सीमा भी कहा जाता है / (उत्तर की ओर,  वरुणा नदी हैं )।There are two main principles about this GHAT name (by name it is limited knowladge to me from whole India).This name is derived from the ASSI river, which is now remains only as the water stream of sewage. This river was also called the southern border of Varanasi (on the north side, the river Varuna).

इसलिए अस्सी घाट को वह स्थान कहा जाता है जहाँ अस्सी नदी गंगा नदी से मिलती है। पुराणों के पुराने पाठ में कहा गया है कि शुंभ-निशुंभ का वध करने के बाद, देवी दुर्गा ने अपनी तलवार को फेंक दिया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप बड़ी धारा, यानी असि नदी का उद्भव हुआ।

 यह भी कहा जाता है कि अस्सी और गंगा (यानी अस्सी घाट) के संगम पर डुबकी लगाने से अन्य पवित्र स्थानों पर इस तरह के 100 स्थानों पर स्नान करने का फल मिलता है।

अन्य सिद्धांत भगवान रुद्र ( Lord Shiva) से संबंधित है।Therefore Assi  Ghats are called the place where  Assi  river meets the Ganges River. In the old text of the Puranas, it has been said that after killing the Shumbha-Nishumbha, Devi Durga threw his sword, which resulted in the emergence of large stream, i.e. river.

 It is also said that plunge in the confluence of eighty and Ganga (i.e. eighty ghats) gives the result of bathing in such 100 places at other sacred places.

Other theories relate to Lord Rama (Lord Shiva).

किंव -दंतियों के अनुसार भगवान रुद्र असुरों से क्रोधित थे। इस रोष ने उन्हें एक दिन में अस्सी असुरों का वध करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इसलिए जिस जगह पर ये अस्सी (अस्सी) असुर मारे गए थे, उसे अस्सी घाट नाम दिया गया है। इन असुरों को मारने के बाद, भगवान रुद्र ( Lord Rudra) ने अपने काम को अंजाम देना शुरू कर दिया और इस निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचे कि ये असुर इतने बुरे नहीं थे और उन्हें इतनी क्रूरता से नहीं मारना चाहिए था। इस अहसास के मद्देनजर उन्होंने खुद ही हिंसा को छोड़ दिया और वाराणसी को अहिंसा का स्थान घोषित किया। उन्होंने घोषणा की कि पवित्र शहर वाराणसी में किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा नहीं होनी चाहिए (हालांकि हम जानते हैं कि वाराणसी में हिंसा के मामले देखे गए हैं, जो बहुत दुखद है)।

इस तरह के कई और सिद्धांत हो सकते हैं और अगर कोई कुछ अलग साझा कर सकता है तो मैं उसका स्वागत करूंगा।The legend says that Lord Rudra was angry with Asur. This fury inspired them to slaughter eighty Asuras in a day. Therefore, at the place where these Assi  (eighty) Asuras were killed, it has been named as Eshi Ghat. After killing these victims, Lord Rudra started to do his work and came to the conclusion that these Asura were not so bad and should not have killed them so cruel. In view of this realization, he left violence and declared Varanasi a place of non-violence. They declared that there should be no violence in the holy city Varanasi (although we know that Varanasi has seen cases of violence, which is very sad).

There may be many more such principles and if someone can share something different then I would welcome it.
